The evacuated sterile BD Vacutainer Tube SST Advance are used to obtain and separate a serum sample. Made from medical grade PET, each tube can be recognised by a gold cap. It contains an inert gel barrier and clot activator coating. The acrylic based gel forms a barrier between the clot and the serum after centrifugation. The unique gel design with optimised slope, enables centrifugation flexibility, providing increased laboratory workflow and process efficiency.
